It is my life's purpose to create - being creative is a way of life.

In 2009 I founded Twin Rivers Interiors, a European influenced artisan interior design studio with a holistic design approach. Nowadays, the studio is partially based in New Zealand and in Europe / The Netherlands. Through the years the portfolio has grown and now covers Visual Arts, Design, Interior Design and Photography.

Some background information; When I am in the process of creating I am very much influenced by nature. its raw, pure beauty and perfect imperfections which are so unique to the natural environment. While on my daily walks or on my travels, I gather information, study and learn, and collect objects from nature. If I can't take the real object because I would harm the environment, I photograph it with a Nikon Z6 and macro lens, making sure I am not damaging the surrounding area.

Having the creative ability, I can’t stop myself using my finds as an inspiration for creating fine art, drawings, designs and photographs. I draw the objects trying to understand its shape, form, colour, pattern, texture, original environment and spiritual meaning and significance. With my art I want to convey the message of kindness and love for ourselves, for others and for all life on earth and for the earth abundance which is there to be loved, admired, respected and used by us in a responsible way.

The fine art drawings and photographs are available for purchase as limited edition prints, printed on high quality cotton rag paper with archival inks. I am currently working on a portfolio with fine art drawings with the purpose of using these as a starting point for the development of interior decor objects like bed, bath & table linen, textiles, wallpapers & wall decoration, stationary, ceramics etc. We could use elements or the entire design or work on new designs all together to create a collection of items and / or products.

Please contact me if you see opportunities to collaborate, would like to commission a piece and / or design or discuss on how we can work together.
