In the current global situation more awareness and sensitivity of our environment is essential. I am able to source sustainable products for you that create a healthy environment in your home. At the same time they are friendly to the beautiful country we live in.

I have gorgeous eco linens, environmentally friendly paints, and many other products in my collection that will suit this new life style.

Restoration
I love old properties because of their charm and historical significance. They are part of our past, should be nurtured and cherished and they deserve to be brought back into a new life. Therefore I am able to assist you with the restoration or renovation of your house in keeping with the style of the period in which it was built, and with the modern amenities to suit our more demanding lifestyle today.

Colour Consultation
At Twin Rivers Home Interiors subtle colour combinations are chosen to complement each other to form a sophisticated background and/or to draw attention. Colour consultation can include one room, two rooms or your total house and can also be extended to the exterior of your home.

Paint Specification
Together with the Colour Consultation I am also able to include a Paint Specification
if necessary.

I work together with Resene, Dulux and Aalto Colour but I am also able to provide
you with a specification of our environmentally friendly paint from the Australian company Bauwerk.

Furniture Advice
Because of my long work experience in the furniture industry I’m able to assist you in finding the right furniture for your home that suits your particular taste but also the style of your house. Whether it is living, dining, lounge or bedroom, I will always be able to find the right item for you.

Soft Furnishings / Window Treatments
I have the most beautiful fabrics in my collection in many colours suitable for the upholstery of furniture or for the soft furnishings like curtains, blinds and complementary items like cushions and lampshades. The fabrics come from suppliers from all over the world but I’m also able to provide fabrics that are made and printed in New Zealand.

With fabrics it is important to look for good quality products especially in New Zealand. With its extreme high UV rating that is higher than anywhere else in the world, it can damage fabrics very quickly. Good quality linings are used to protect the fabric and prevent it from fading too quickly.

Curtain Rods and Tracks
To complement the window treatments I have a comprehensive range of curtain rods, tracks, finials and holdbacks available in many styles, materials and colour variations. The products are made locally so delivery times are reduced to a minimum.

The trade’s men have a very long experience in the industry and have been installing tracks and rods in a big variety of homes.

Roller Shades and Sunscreens
The roller shades and blinds that I have in my collection are suitable for every room in your home. Depending on the style of your interior, classic to contemporary, we can show you an extensive range of roller shades and sunscreens, Duette shades, pleated, roman, timber, venetian and vertical blinds in a variety of colours and materials from leading New Zealand companies.

Kitchen Design
Nowadays the kitchen has become the centre of the house and very often it includes a space for the dining table as well. Very often children will use the dining table to do their home work. A big part of family life is spent in this room. It’s here where we do the baking, prepare school lunches and daily family dinners. But we also want to be able to create delicious food when we organise dinner parties for our family and friends; Therefore it is important to create a practical space where everything is easy to reach, clean and maintain. It is also essential to create a kitchen that is welcoming and inviting. I am able to design a pleasant multi-functional space for you with the use of suitable high quality materials, appliances and accessories.

Bathroom Design
With the busy lives we lead it is an absolute necessity to have a comfortable functional bathroom so that we can take quick showers in the morning but are also able to relax and have a nice long bath at the end of the day. Unfortunately not every house has a big and spacious bathroom, but with the right ergon-omic design and bathroom furniture every bathroom, big or small, will become this luxurious space that you have always dreamt of.
