Phil and Lesa wanted a contemporary country feel with clean, modern lines. They loved the Otago look of schist stone and earthy, stony, muddy colours, however didn't want anything too rustic. The client was a joiner by trade, so Twin Rivers worked together to create detail such as skirting, architraves, window sills, interior door hardware, coving, and joinery.
We assisted with the architectural details for interior and exterior, paint and colour specification for both Interior and exterior, kitchen materials and colours, wall papers, fabrics for furniture and upholstery, furniture choice and placement, design of TV cabinetry, lighting, curtains and all other window treatments, homewares and soft furnishings. We specified a combination of natural materials for fabrics like linens and cottons in natural colours, real timbers and timber veneers for TV joinery and kitchen, gloss paints for timber work in combination with mat finishes for the walls.
