Kate and Graeme, their family, and their pets, live a busy North Canterbury lifestyle. Friends and family constantly visit on nearly a daily basis. They had collected many artworks, vases, and paintings (all in warm colours) from when they lived in Africa. Twin Rivers had already assisted Kate and Graeme with various smaller projects previously. When Kate asked to transform a small space off her living room, we together decided it would be a perfect little sun / reading room. We specified a dark paint colour as a back ground for their colourful artwork, with white fresh trims for window joinery. We re-upholstered existing sofa, ottoman, and the grannies chair, decorating the different items with matching cushions in warm sunny colours from the William Yeoward range. Lastly, we designed a big storage unit to also be used as a display for all their artwork pieces.
